EV Transport News exists to bring its readers timely in-depth information about accelerating developments in technology and business models that are propelling significant changes in the global transportation industry. In doing so, we also consider how the solar power, electric power generation and storage, and oil and gas industries interact with those in the transportation world.

Our primary focus is on electric vehicles from passenger cars to light trucks to over-the-road semi trucks, and to forthcoming personal transportation vehicles such as Robotaxis. The increasing use of electric vehicles combined with autonomous driving capability will have profound implications for each of those industries above and for society as a whole. While the changes we discuss benefit the growing green movement, economic factors are the primary driving force for the coming disruption of the industries noted above.

Readers of this site’s postings will notice that its articles tend to be longer than those articles from many other sites. This is a deliberate aspect of my strategy. I want my articles to be educational, analytical, and informative — not so much a series of more superficial daily news flashes. In that sense I am aiming to be more like The Economist rather than USA Today. I hope you value that.
